Purchases and Buying
 
Handymade accepts a variety of payment options, however our preferred method of payment is through the use of PayPal. PayPal is a fast and safe way to make online purchases and payments. The service allows members to send money without sharing financial information, with the flexibility to pay using their account balances, bank accounts, credit cards or personal financing.
 
However, if Paypal is not an option, other forms of payments will also be accepted. If paying with a personal check, we will ship your item as soon as your check clears. Any other payment types will have to be discussed beforehand.
 

Availability

Items such as paintings, drawings, and other artwork are all one of a kind, so once a picture is sold, there is no more of that particular piece.  If a piece of artwork is available for purchase, then we will indicate that by stating “In Stock” next to it. If you would like for us to draw or paint something that you have in mind, please let us know, and we’ll be happy to discuss that with you.

Items such as photographs and jewelry are always available.

Deposits

For items that require an extensive amount of time and effort such as the custom drawings, we will ask for a deposit that totals to half of the complete item price that has been agreed upon. The second half will be paid after your project is completed. Before making a deposit, please make absolutely sure that you want your product, because once a deposit is paid, there will be no refunds. Any sort of cancellation grace period will have to be discussed on a case-by-case basis.

Shipping

To simplify the buying process, we will not add on any additional charges for shipping and handling, and the prices that are advertised are the true prices of the products.

Because each of our art and paintings is one of a kind, a suitable timeline for completion will be decided on a case-by-case basis. We will try and approximate a completion date for you before beginning a project; however it would be a rough estimate at best. Because of this, we will consistently keep you updated on the progress of your item. Shipping of an item will take place once the last payment is made and verified. You will be notified when your product is shipped along with any necessary shipping information.

Returns and Refunds

We will not be refunding any of our products due to the amount of time that it may take to complete them. However if you are not completely satisfied with anything that we have sent you, please contact us, and we will be happy to try and work out any problems that you may have.

 

Our Time Frame

Because there are just two of us, we can only work on and complete so many projects at a time. If you have a request for a piece of artwork that will take some to time to finish, and we are too busy at the moment, we will be completely honest with you and inform you of that. However we will be more than willing to put your name on a waiting list, and we will then be able to get to your project once we complete some earlier ones. We apologize in advance if we are not able to begin your request immediately, but we assure you that we will as soon as we have an opportunity.
